The Martingale System Betting refers to a particular class of betting system. This betting system was very popular in France during the 18th century and it is still today. How did it work in those days? In games the gamblers won by the outcome of flipping a coin. You won if the coin landed on heads and lost if it landed on tails. The Martingale System Betting strategy made the gambler double his bets after every loss he incurred. This was done to recover previous losses and win a profit double than his original bet.
The Martingale system is used mostly by players in casinos and also VIP betting players and it works out like so... You first place a bet, and then if you lose the bet, you double your next bet. You continue doubling your bet until you win. Check out the brief example below when you place bets.

It doesn’t really matter how many times you double your bets, in the end you eventually get back your original bet and more. The system allows players to use even money bets only.
